Raw exterior vase
A cream stoneware vase kept intentionally raw on the outside highlighting texture and movement from the clay during the making process. The natural colour of the clay works incredibly well with all flowers, dry or fresh, showing them to their best with an understated elegance provided by the vase. Glazed on the inside with a white gloss glaze.
This is a highly textured clay that starts out a salmon, sandstone colour; after the two firings it takes on a beautiful flecked creamy buttermilk hue.
