A wheel thrown egg cup with rim for egg shells.
This is a grey stoneware clay speckled with small flecks of lava and glazed in a lovely off-white variegated semi matte glaze reminiscent of travertine stone. The glaze has beige flecks which comes from both iron in the glaze and the lava in the clay.
As each piece is unique and handmade there may be subtle differences from one item to the next. This is a durable, dishwasher proof, food-safe glaze which is unique and was formulated by Sarah and rigorously tested.
