Garlic or onion storage jar
A one-of-a-kind stoneware jar for storing garlic, echalottes or small onions. Wheelthrown using a grey stoneware clay with flecks of lava and glazed using my own formulation in a semi matte oatmeal glaze. The glaze contains iron oxide which combined with iron in the clay produces a lovely oatmeal effect.
